Instructions

  1. Step 1 1

To begin, I have noticed there are 2 sizes of Flag-bags. In this tutorial I support both of them but in the pictures I will be using my small one.

  2. Step 2 2

First you must have the flag-bag facing down. fold the top until it reaches the O on the ONE. Or until there is a little bit of blue peeking out.

  3. Step 3 3

Now fold the bottom until there is no blue being seen.

  4. Step 4 4

Mark how long you want the wallet to be be. A helpful hint is to measure the width of the bag and that should be a good length.

  5. Step 5 5

After you cut, this will be what it looks like. You will only need one of the ends. Although I do reccomend using the other peice to make a flower because now is the time to be able to decorate the front before you add the second piece.

  6. Step 6 6

Lay the second piece flat on top of the wallet. Let part of the 2nd layer peek through. It is okay if some of the fabric is too long on the bottom, we will handle that scandle later.

  7. Step 7 7

    ~Optional~
To add pockets on the first layer, mark where you want them and how how big they should be. Now only sew the first 2 layers. DO NOT sew the third one unless you do not want to put dollar bills in it.

  8. Step 8 8

Sew all around the edges. This is the time to use cool stitches because they will be seen.

  9. Step 9 9

Once your done, cut off edges. To prevent fraying use glue and rub all over edges. Or you can serge or zig-zag stitch.

  10. Step 10 10

And now you are all done! Trust me everyone will be talking about this. And all you have to say is "Yeah I made that!"
