Toddler Top From And Old Top

I made this for my niece in under an hour
This was really simple to make. I just followed the same principles for any pillow case dress, but used an old top of mine instead of a pillowcase. I also used elastic to make the dress gather at the front and back and double bias tape instead of ribbon to hem with and make the straps. It makes a good contrast to the fabric and as it's easier to sew with than ribbon.

The good thing about having the ties over the shoulders is that it's very adjustable!
