So I decided to do this super easy how to since I was talking to a friend of mine and he'd never heard of toasting seeds. I used Acorn Squash but you can do this in a various different ways with different seeds (including pumpkin:D) This is my chipotle chili seasoning seeds:D

First off I took this picture from google since my camera was being a pain. Now take your squash and wash it and halve it. You want to scoop the seeds out and wash those too. Let them dry alittle.
Next put then in a pan, make sure to spread them out. They tend to clump which you don't want. Take whatever seasonings you want and sprinkle it on. I'd also add a little salt. Different things work for different squash, like with pumpkin I like to use nutmeg.
Here's a close up of the seeds with the spices. Next you want to put them in your oven, I set it for 350 for a few min's then turn the oven off. You want to dry them out but not burn them.
I take them out when golden brown, since I'm not a fan of burnt food but you can leave it in as long as you want. Eat and enjoy:D
I accidentally had some left so I decided to plant them:D So if your not into eating the seeds how about try planting them?
