Tiramisu

Give your guests a good hit with a coffee soaked tiramisu.

  1. Step 1

    Place the mascarpone cheese in a bowl and whisk in the sugar, vanilla and kahula.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Whisk in a cup of whipped cream and 4 tbsps of flaked chocolate.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Place the coffee in a mug and mix with hot water. Take 4 short glasses and break sponge fingers in to the bottom and brush with coffee.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Place some of the tiramasu mixture on top.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Add another layer of sponge fingers and another layer of tiramasu mixture.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

    Top with whipped cream and grated chocolate.

This looks like a wonderful recipe, I will try it out on my friends. I've been looking for a nice easy one! Thank you for sharing :) As a fluffy alternative to the ladies fingers, I have used angel food cake as well when making Tiramisu.

couldn't you just use regular coffee instead of kahlua? i know the end result wouldn't be as nice perhaps, but for those that don't take alcohol, maybe that would work...?
