Description

Instructions

  1. Small 860

Cut a length of wire long enough to fit around your head. Bend it in to a nice shape so that it will fit your head.

  2. Small 861

Curl up the sharp edges with some pliers.

  3. Small 862

Take a strip, twice the length of the last, of the thinner wire and starting at one end of the thick wire start wrapping the thin wire around and around until you reach the other end.

  4. Small 863

Take two more strips of thin wire, the same length as the last one, and attach them to each end. Wrap around for about 4 or 5 inches and then stop.

  5. Small 864

    Attach a bead.

  6. Small 865

Attach a few smaller beads and another type of bead.

  7. Small 866

Repeat the pattern back down and wrap the wire around the base a couple of times.

  8. Small 867

Repeat the previous pattern on the other side of the base. Remember symmetry is the key with tiaras. Then work a longer strip in various beads.

  9. Small 868

When the two long strips meet in the middle thread them both through one central bead (this should be that extra special bead).

  10. Small 869

From the center work another row of beads (I choose to do mine in a contrasting colour).

  11. Small 870

String the wire through a bead on either side to form a little arc of beads coming out from the middle.

  12. Small 871

Remember to keep the bead count and pattern even on either side.

  13. Small 872

Add more beads and work your way down from the top.

  14. Small 873

When you reach the bottom wrap the wire around the base a couple of times.

  15. Small 874

Thread the wire through the bottom bead of the string you just completed and work you way back up.

  16. Small 875

When you reach the top wrap the wire around the outside of the main bead a couple of times.

  17. Small 876

Work this thread down and wrap it through the bead (that is closer to the center) on the very first string you made. Wrap the remaining wire around the base until you reach the tiara end and wrap it off.
