You Will Need

Step 1Start with any piece of thrift store knick knackery. The uglier, the better.

Step 2GIve it a few coats of paint in your choice of color. Let dry completely between each coat. This particular piece took about 3 coats of paint.

Step 3Mix your choice of glitter with Mod Podge.

Step 4Add a little or add a lot of glitter, depending on how sparkly you want your piece to be. Paint your piece with the glitter/Mod Podge mix using a paint brush. Let dry completely.

Step 5Put it on display, sit back and enjoy the compliments that will soon come pouring in.
