A great way to improve your dishs!

I wanted to make this as a "how to" but there's really no trick to it, all you have to do is paint and draw.

There are a few type of ceramic paints out there, notice that you get one that doesn't require a pro ceramic oven.

I like the Fabeo Porcelain 150, because they are non toxic and dishwasher safe. You need to bake the product at 300F for half an hour to set the color.
The cool thing about this is that it also come in pens - so the fine line work was done with those.

There is another type of paint, also by febeo, which is more opaque, but sadly, is toxic, so you can only use it for vases or other item which doesn't touch food.

Once you get some paint, you just paint and draw as you would on paper, it's really fun, the paint is sort of like thick watercolor and dry really fast. brush can be cleaned with soap and water and paint can be diluted with water if you want lighter colors.

I got those awesome plates in the Salvation army store and it was great to give them a new incarnation!

This is the paint I used:

These are so wonderful! You should sell them, I think you could get a lot of money for what you do!
