  1. Step 1

Mix your ingredients in a small bowl until a paste is formed.

  2. Step 2

Give your skin a thorough cleaning. Massage your cleanser into your skin for at least thirty seconds before rinsing.

  3. Step 3

While your skin is still wet, apply the scrub to your face. Massage it into your pores using gentle, circular, and upward motions. Focus on the greasiest parts of your skin- this is usually the t-zone. Leave the scrub on for as long as possible to reap the full benefits.

  4. Step 4

Rinse your face with water and pat your skin dry. Apply your regular toner and moisturizer. Enjoy your super soft skin!

Oh yes! Nutmeg is really good for pimples, keep in mind. But I have made this recipe using green tea leaves, which is lovely. Chamomile leaves, I imagine, would be nice as well. But try experimenting, I'd love to hear about any mixes you try.

However, I would advise that any ingredients you use are small particles- big, corrosive items are not good for your skin.

Yeah, the sea salt can be replaced with regular old salt or even sugar. I just recommend the sea salt because it is natural and has healing properties. I find that as a spot treatment, it takes away the redness of the pimple. I'm pretty positive that regular salt doesn't do that.

Sea salt is very inexpensive and has multiple uses- it is great in a bath or body scrub. I suggest using it, most definitely.
