First step u should bring
1.Scotch Tape.
2.french pink (as a base).
3.Any color u want.
4.top coat -
now u put the french pink and let it totally dry.

Cut out a piece of tape almost about 4cm.Then u bring a fabric stick the tape and remove it about 7 times so the tape losses its glue so it wont pick up first layer.
-
stick the tape on the nail from flesh side . this step will make our manucure perfect such as the salons.
-
now it is time 2 put the color which is red as i chose it.we dont worry that the color will touch the flesh part of the nail.
-
finish all the finger nails and let them dry.now apply the top coat .

Viola..! :)

I also use tape for making my nails ^^ It´s way better than the mask you can buy for them.

I was thinking of using tape too !!!
I always draw the line with the white coat by hand, it's became always messy :s

bandaids work great too!! I use the rounded end so the polish isnt super-straight.

I just ran out of my manicure strips the other day and tried to freehand it (turned out terrible) It never occurred to me to just use tape, that's awesome! I'll have to try this out, especially because I find it very hard to justify $3 stickers just for my nails.

If it's laying around, Painter's tape (the blue stuff) is even better to use than any other tape, because there's no risk that it will pull up the varnish!
