Description

Here is a cute little pair of slippers that you can make. I was inspired by one of my favorite movie stars -Doris Day and designed these slippers to wear on those lazy days of summer sipping your chilled ice tea. Enjoy! Here is the pattern with the complete directions too.
Enjoy!

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

For each bootie, cut 1 from solid -color, 1 from print.

  2. Step 2

Stitch dart (dotted line) and heel seam; right sides together, seam pieces, leaving small opening for turning right side out - hand stitch to finish.

  3. Step 3

Enlarge / decrease pattern so folded size measure 1 inch larger than your foot size.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Tie and adjust to fit.

Haha, I've just made them too small! I'm soo gutted as I used a really cute green star patterned fabric for the inside and an old jumper for the outside (I thought it would make them more durable!)
Now all I can do it give them away as a present and Envy that person!

I can't get mine to tie in the right place... i want the tie close to the toes, like in your pic, but instead, its halfway up the foot..? Any idea how I could fix it? I might just play around with them, as it's my first pair. :)

All in all, great project!

Hello -
Here is another link to the pattern - I hope this helps!!!!

Copy/ paste into Photoshop or Word or any photo program you may have. Hit Select All - while holding the shift key you can enlarge or decrease with out distorting the shape. Then you can enlarge to the right size that you need - for good seam allownce give yourself about 1.5 - you can alway sew more if needed.

Like a couple people said before, the image is not working to print out... when I click on it, it won't enlarge. Can it be reuploaded, or uploaded on like imageshack and a link posted?
