Pretty Easy

The Easy Reader

  • Completed Project: The Easy Reader Picture #1

Reading Tool

I have dyslexia and it only makes itself known when I read. I find it so hard to keep my place and using the bookmark or my hand is too fussy! So I made this :)...and it's pretty.

It could also be good for children or people with sight problems.

This was inspired by PlaidCrafter's 'Hiding Square'.

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

Cut out a peice of cardboard and a peice of paper or bag a little bigger then the cardboard.

Cut a gap in the card, place on top of the paper/plastic and draw an X in the gap.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Cut the X into sections so peices like this > remain. Place the card on top of the inside of the paper/plastic and glue down like in the picture.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Glue down all the sides, folding the last two sides like this helps keep the front neat.

I only glued down on the back of this easy reader which makes the front look neater, however in the main picture the glue underneath the plastic looks kinda funky.
