Alternative history - Tim Burton eat your heart out

Because I create a lot of digital art, I wanted a costume that I could use in a variety of ways when creating my own stock photography with models.

I created this costume from the pattern "Misses Tudor Costume" by simplicity. Unlike the original pattern I did not attach the skirts to the bodice, I kept them separate so that I could have a costume that I could detach the layers for separate looks.

This is the end result. As you can see, I have create the costume where I can have a peek-a-boo underskirt to compliment and break up the striped over skirt, I can have a pain striped costume or a full dark and Gothic look with a plain black Saturn skirt.

I have also added pleather (wet look) for the billowy sleeves. A many strapped wide belt that can be added or removed depending on the look required.

The underskirt is a 6 hooped skirt that can be altered to a fuller or thinner look with adjustable hoops. These skirts can cost anything up to $200 AU from a bridal store, but I caught a bargain on Ebay paying only $26. This hoop can also be removed for a flat and long look.
