Spice up your bookcase!

This book case really brings personality to a room! It took forever, but it was well worth it!

The only think I paid for in this project was the lacquer which was $12 @ Home Depot. The paper was from an old book and the glue I had laying around my house.

Crafts

Instructions

  1. Step 1 1

    Make sure surface is primed.

Find some paper- old news paper, and old book, old letters, whatever you want! Cut to the desired size. My strips were 2.25 inches.

  2. Step 2 2

Dilute glue with water and apply to back of paper strip (as if you were decoupaging).
    Apply to surface.

  3. Step 3 3

Cover entire surface until desired texture is achieved.
Seal bookcase with a lacquer or varnish of some sort.

    TADA!
