A cute and cuddly camera case!
There is enough yarn in a 50g ball to make two camera cases.

  • Step 1

    BODY:
    Crochet a chain long enough to fit around width of camera. Join to make a ring. Ch1, sc in second ch from hook, sc in each ch across. DO NOT JOIN. DO NOT TURN. Work sc around until Body is as high as length of camera. Sl st in next sc. Fasten off.

    BEAR HEAD:(make 2)
    Ch4. Join to form ring.
    Row 1: Work 8 sc into ring. Join.
    Row 2: Ch1, work 2 sc in each sc around. Join (16sc)
    Row 3: Ch1, work *1sc in next st, 2sc in next st. Repeat from * around. Join (24sc)
    Row 4: Ch1, work *1sc in next 2 st, 2sc in next st. Repeat from * around. Join (36sc)
    Row 5: Ch1, work 1sc in next 3 st, 2sc in next st, 1sc in next 4 st, (1hdc, 2dc, 1hdc) in next st once, 1sc in next 5 st, (1hdc, 2dc, 1hdc) in next st once, 1sc in next 2 st, 2sc in next st, 1sc iin next 3 st, 2sc in next st, 1sc in next 3 st. Join. Fasten off.

    FINISHING:
    With both Bear Heads held together, sc evenly around, joining both pieces together. Fasten off.

    Join yarn behind ear. Work 1dc in the joining st. Work 1dc in each sc between ears. Work 1dc behind next ear, ch3, turn. Work 3 more rows of dc. Fasten off. Sew to back of Body. Sew bottom of case closed.

    FACE:
    Using buttons (as shown) or any other material for embellishing, create eyes, nose and mouth for Bear Head.

    Note: I didn't use anything to fasten the bear head flap closed, but you could sew on some velcro for this purpose.
