Time:1h00
Pretty Easy
Description

I saw this necklace online at the Dorothy Perkins website and thought it was really cute, but a little pricey at £25! So I decided to make my own. I used materials I had in the house rather than buying anything new and made it in a plum colour to match a lot of my autumn clothes. But even if you bought gold findings or leather it would still cost less than £25.

Instructions
  1. 1
    Step 1

Assemble your materials (I've got headpins in this picture but I didn't actually use them as my bell caps had eyes at the top).

  2. 2
    Step 2

Make a tassel by winding your cord round the card until its as thick as you want it. Thread the needle with embroidery thread and use it to tie together the cord strands.

  3. 3

Slide the looped strands off the card. Holding the top, where you have bound the tassel, cut the cord strands where they are folded from the card. Use the embroidery thread to bind the top and keep it together.

  4. 4
    Step 4

Glue your tassel into the bell cap. Make another 5 tassels. You may want to iron or trim your tassels before you attach them to your chain with the jump rings. Finished! Enjoy!
