-

Find an old or unwanted tape measure and take a needle and thread.
-

At one end of the tape measure, fold over one edge and sew it down to the main body of the tape measure to create a small loop.
-

Repeat this behind the first loop. Sew in place.
-

Continue this round, making loops behind the first and sewing in place.
-

When you have worked your way round in a whole circle it should look like a flower. Cut off the excess tape measure.
-

Sew a button on to the front.
-

Sew a brooch clasp on to the back.

Really like this broach, it's dead cute. Kinda reminds me of the ribbon ones Neils Children used to wear.
Ace little website you've got! If you ever want to come down to the club message us on myspace for guestlist (we owe you that much for your favourable mention in your feature on Vintage). Xx
