Project Cost
Almost Nothing

  1. Step 1 1

Grab a T shirt you want to use! This was my favorite shirt through out my pregnancy but now that I don't have a huge watermelon belly attached to me it doesn't fit right, so I am remaking it!

  2. Step 2 2

    First Cut the sleeves off

  3. Step 3 3

    Cut the t-shirt seems

  4. Step 4 4

Pin it back together so things are as even as possible

  5. Step 5 5

Cut about finger sized wholes up the entire shirt (even the sleeves)

In hindsight this would have been easier if I had folded the shirt in half and cut both sides at onces, and would have been more even :)

  6. Step 6 6

Cut two long pieces of lace, the same size

Lace one up one side and the other up the other side. I lacing it up the sides like I would lace a shoe, then when I reached the sleeves I spiraled it up each side!

  7. Step 7 7

cute the lace, and tied it in a small knot in the inside of the shirt so you couldn't see it

  8. Step 8 8

In this version instead of cutting the lace and knotting it off I tied both sides into bows on the shoulder, I didn't like the bows very much though so I tied them off.
