Anniversary present for my lovely boyfriend
Free style machine embroidery that took for FREAKING EVER. Pieced together a pattern from a bunch of different pictures traced it. Sewed it all onto the back of a men's button up shirt. I replaced all the buttons on it because when I bought the shirt they were all white...didn't make much sense to me. Also I put a little emblem on the front pocket. Last but not least I put one last gear on the sleeve that'll show on the cuff when its rolled up.
Almost forgot my favorite bit, there's a little secret heart on the inside of collar, you can see it in the picture but he rarely pops his collar so it'll stay hidden.
Just to explain the title a bit further...I don't have AC in my house. And its been in the 90's and even hotter in the house...AND I freaking sewed through my finger you'd think after 10+ years in front of a sewing machine I'd know better...but yeah, I don't.
I so heart this shirt. I'm gonna have to make one for myself now but, I can't reuse the pattern or we'd match...and I'm so against matching couples.
