 What you craft along to

I love crafting to period movies, especially the Jane Austen flicks. Right now I'm knitting a baby blanket and watching the new BBC version of "Sense and Sensibility". It makes me feel all cozy!

 First Project You Ever Made

I used to use my mom's sewing machine as a young girl (around 7 or 8) to make Barbie doll clothes. I would make them from stuff I found around the house, old clothes, rubber bands as elastic (not a good idea) so it was my first foray into refashioning.

 Favorite Items to Make

I love crafting everything but when it comes to my own personal crafts, I love to make clothing whether sewn or knit. Right now, I'm expecting my first baby in November so I'm consumed with baby crafts.

 Anything Else

I also have a personal blog called Coquette at http://coquette.blogs.com which covers mostly fashion but also technology and crafts.
This year I co-authored a fashion technology book with Project Runway Season 2 Alum Diana Eng called "TechStyle: Create Wired Wearables and Geeky Gear". It's due out before the holidays at the end of 2008.

You can find out more about multitalented Natalie at her blog, Coquette or catch up with her latest craft finds at Craft: Zine.
