What was the first project you ever made?

My mom & dad were very into hobbies when I was a kid. My mom did a lot of needlepoint, counted cross stitch, sewing, baking, bargello, quilling, and baking. My dad loved photography and film developing and woodworking. They introduced me to exploring different hobbies. The first thing I remember making was a little needlepoint smiley face. My mom framed it and hung it in our camper.

What are your favorite items to make?

I love to knit and crochet small projects such as: hats, mittens, socks, stuffed animals - things that give me a quick sense of satisfaction.

Which other craft blogs do you love to read?

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

I've recently gotten into more textured knitting projects: interesting stitches, modular knitting and even shadow knitting. Whatever I'm making - I like to have fun with it!
