Super easy dread falls that don't require dye!
 <  Image 1 of 4  >

So i'v always wanted dread falls...This is close enough and half the price and not as time consuming! And with more tule and time they could be super amazing! This was just the result of me cleaning out my scrap fabric box.

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

First cut your tule into strips about 18-20 inches long. cut allot...Your going to need it.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Take three strips and tie them together with a knot at the very top

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Tape it you your favorite wall!

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

Start braiding the three strips together. If you don't know how to braid...Go ask your mom or something. If she asks what your doing..You might want to leave that out...just say hair

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

Once your done braiding it all the way tie a knot as close to the bottom as you can

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

It should look like this...Now pull it down! Do this about...10- to allot of times until you have your desired amount. I only had enough tule to make ten braids

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

Once you have a bunch of braids separate them into two equal piles. Take one pile and put it half way through your pony tail holder. Get them how you want to look. As far as evenness goes.

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

Find an extra piece of tule and put it around the bottom of your braids where the pony tali holder is

  9. Step 9

    Step 9

Now out the tule through the pony tail holder. This will make sure the pony tail holder and the braids stay together

  10. Step 10

    Step 10

Tie a double knot to secure the braids to the pony tail holder. Cut off the excess tule if you wish.

  11. Step 11

    Step 11

Now figure out how to put them in your hair. they look best when your pony tail is higher up on your head.I left all the knots at the bottoms of mine...But you can cut yours off if you want. I thought they looks cool. Have fun. Go play dress up now!

"Tape it to your favorite wall!"

But what if I don't have a favorite wall? XD

Heh. But cool idea, never thought of doing it with tulle.
