An easy project for those who want to knit a hat although they have "scarf only"-knitting abilities.

So we start with knitting a scarf long enough that it fits loosely around your head.
And oh my god, with thin yarn this takes some time. -
When we´re done with that, we sew the ends together to form a tube.
-
Now we sew with long stitches through one open end of our tube.
-
Finally we pull the thread tight, secure everything with knots and flip the thing over.
Crochetman says: Defenitley something I would wear too...although in this size it´s more like a tent to me.
