It's nothing personal. You're an embarrassment.

My boyfriend wanted stockings, so I made one for me, him, his mother, and our cat and dog. They are really, really, really easy. And would have only taken me ten minutes to make if I had a sewing machine. I only used 1/4 of a yard for each stocking and found a fabric remnant that was a little bit more than a fourth for the little stockings.

Description

My boyfriend wanted stockings, so I made one for me, him, his mother, and our cat and dog. They are really, really, really easy. And would have only taken me ten minutes to make if I had a sewing machine. I only used 1/4 of a yard for each stocking and found a fabric remnant that was a little bit more than a fourth for the little stockings.

Instructions

  1. Small pict0834 1291838967

First gather up everything you need. Then, I made my own pattern with scrap fabric. I made smaller ones for the animals.

  2. Small pict0837 1291839196

Lay in on the wrong side of the fabric, trace, and cut.

  3. Small pict0838 1291839252

This is VERY important: Make sure the two parts are opposites!! I forgot on my first one and almost ran out of fabric!

  4. Small pict0839 1291839401

Place the pieces with the right sides in and sew.

  5. Small pict0841 1291839412

I wanted to add a little more to the stockings, so I put a little felt around the top.

Now, cut a little strip of fabric. This will be the loop for you to hang up the stocking with.

  7. Small pict0845 1291839495

Sew it in the corner of the stocking.

Lastly to personalize the stocking, I wrote names in glitter glue on the front and 2010 on the back.
