It's nothing personal. You're an embarrassment.
My boyfriend wanted stockings, so I made one for me, him, his mother, and our cat and dog. They are really, really, really easy. And would have only taken me ten minutes to make if I had a sewing machine.

I only used 1/4 of a yard for each stocking and found a fabric remnant that was a little bit more than a fourth for the little stockings.

    First gather up everything you need.

    Then, I made my own pattern with scrap fabric. I made smaller ones for the animals.

    Lay in on the wrong side of the fabric, trace, and cut.

    This is VERY important: Make sure the two parts are opposites!! I forgot on my first one and almost ran out of fabric!

    Place the pieces with the right sides in and sew.

    I wanted to add a little more to the stockings, so I put a little felt around the top.

    Now, cut a little strip of fabric. This will be the loop for you to hang up the stocking with.

    Sew it in the corner of the stocking.

    Lastly to personalize the stocking, I wrote names in glitter glue on the front and 2010 on the back.
