Probably your face gets oily through the day. but bringing a huge powder brush to work or school? No way! Plus if you throw your brush in your makeup bag it will pick up all the dirt and stuff what you'll put directly on your face. eww. How awesome would that be, if your favourite brush was always next to your powder in a small compact form? Check this out ;)

You'll need
a face brush
a face powder
an elastic -

so take off the handle of the brush. I can't really give you advice on how to do this, because mine came off by itself, that's how i came up with this idea :D But I'm sure you can take your brush apart somehow.

Pull the elastic through the top part of the powder.

now pull it throug again and again until your elastic on your powder is pretty tight

Stick your mini brush in the elastic and you're done! Now you can throw it in your bag (maybe in a little zip bag, if you don't want your brush to be dirty) And your face will be matte all day long :)
And actually you can do this with any brush and makeup, so you can tie your mini lipbrush to your lipstick or whatever you want :)
