I started this hat in Summer (January 2009) and yes, I didn't finish it for summer, it was finished Autumn (April 2009).
Pattern was taken from the magazine: Creative Knitting, Issue 28 Summer 2008 - it's an Australian Magazine.

HAHAHA, I felt so confused about the January-summer and April-autumn, and I just kept reading that part over and over, until I looked down and saw its an Australian magazine [which I'm guessing means you are somewhere in the southern hemisphere].
