Simple and easy!

Buy studs and get your glue and start sticking! Make sure you're quick with your hands of you'll end up making a a bigger mess than expected. If you've got a really good glue gun, I'd suggest you use that instead - it'll be cleaner and it'll last much longer.

If you're using pyramid studs, like I did, you'll have to bend the sharp ends at the back - use diy pliers for these or you might hurt yourself.

Make sure you let it dry out before you use them ( 1 - 2 days)

You may add as many studs on each side as you like. I wanted some gap in between my studs so I used 6 on each side. Feel free to go crazy!
