One day I was staring at my sad graveyard of stud earrings and wondering to myself how I could organize them all so that they'd be easy to see and wouldn't get lost..:/ I came up with this idea which is extrememly simple and for me, free! If you don't have a picture frame laying around like I did than you can find them for really cheap at second hand stores and yard sales :)
1
Get out your picture frame and take the glass and cardboard backing out so all you have is the frame itself.
2
Take some scissors and plastic canvas and measure the inside of the picture frame. Cut out the canvas so it fits inside the frame snugly.
3
Like so :)
4
Heat up your hot glue gun or use super glue and glue along the back of the frame where the glass and frame used to touch
5
Place your canvas over the hot glue and press down to secure. Be careful not to burn yourself! ;)
6
Take your ribbon (I used 2 different widths and colors) and form a bow out of one piece. Cut the other piece down to size, about 3 or so inches.
7
Attatch the ribbon to your frame with a dab of hot glue, this ribbon is what you will hang the frame with.
8
Add the bow with a dot of glue and fill the plastic canvas with your stud earrings!
Finished! :D
