1. 

   1st, get your materials. You can use any size needle, but I used a size 6. I used more than one color of yarn, but you can do whatever you want.

2. 

   Next, cast on 25 stitches.




3. 

   Then, just knit in garter stitch (knit everything, no purling) until the piece is about 1 to 3 inches long. I like about 2 inches. Add stripes during this step if you want.

4. 

   Then cast off.




5. 

   Now stitch it together with the tapestry needle.

6. 

   

   Voila! You are finished!
