This is wery easy,but its wery showy.It makes a good lamp-shade,you cat put a candle in it or make smaller ones and hang it on the christmas tree!I made wery big ones for all chandeliers for our new appartment.

Mix the flower with the water,so you get flour paste.
-
Blow up your balloon as big as you want your ball to be.
-
Dip the string in the flour paste.(make shure all of the string gets wet)
-
Twine the string tight around the balloon.make shure that the bottom of the balloon (where you tied it) stayes clear.

Hang it up somewhere.
-
When the ball is dry (I waited a day) pierce the ballon and remove it.
-
Your string ball is done!you can color it and you can make on out of wire too!
