I am getting married this September, so this is the first of many project updates to come!

I'm not traditional, and I think its ridiculous to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on one day - I'd rather use my creativity and create something one of a kind for close friends and family =]

Our wedding colors are black and white, and we decided to accent with red and silver. The flower was already made when I started this boutonniere. I just added a small red rhinestone to the middle of the button, some black feathers and a single silver vintage millinery leaf I bought on Etsy. Then, I wrapped the "wire" stem in white floral tape, and added a little black bow.

I am also going to make a pearl "spray" with wire and white pearls - but the wire hasn't arrived yet.
