This hat took me about 3 hours to make. I crochet'd it <3 It's my first real crochet creation! I had trouble making it the size I needed, but I figure it's just the prototype. Now I can make an even better one. I even made the pompom. my daughter wore my hat, but it's a bit too big. LOL

No, sorry no pattern. But I can tell you what I did! First make a ring, and increase stiches until you have a big circle. Then, I held it up to my head, and made adjustments. After its the right size, just keep that same amount of stitches, do not increase or decrease. This will make you rhat kinda cyllindrical.. So then at the point I wanted my ear flaps, I made some shell like thingys by crocheting a line and turning it for each row and adding more stitches. Finally I braided a bunch of hanging tassels and stitched them in. This was trial and error for me, so I just winged it. Try it and make your own adjustments, as well <3
