Delicious on a Summer's Day Margaritas!
This is a recipe I learned from my Mom. She had to teach me how to make them "virgin" because I loved this drink so much as a kid at summer. Here you can make these for kids or adults!

Sorry I have no pictures but I will try to make this simple and FUN!!!

  • Step 1

    Get out your handy blender!!

You will need frozen Strawberries, look at my frozen strawberries how to or purchase them at the store.

You will use 3 parts strawberries to 1 part ice cubes.

    Add to blender

  • Step 2

Pour to approx. 1/4-1/2 (depending on your strength preference) of the blender your Tequilla. Save the high end silver and beter tequillas for shots, a nice quality gold is great for this recipe.

If you don't like tequilla you can use a good rum (white or standard) or even Captian Morgan's. For a delicious Daiquiri.

  • Step 3

Next add a good Strawberry Margarita mix like La Paz to the mix taking the liquid to above the frozen ice and strawberries.

If you don't have the mix or want to use something else add a simple sugar mix (equal parts sugar dissolved in water).

If using the mix add approx 1/2 cup water.

  • Step 4

Add lemon and or lime juice to taste.

  • Step 5

    Blend away!!!

You want this smooth and not chunky. You can chose to salt or sugar the rim if you like but its not neccesary. Add into pretty cup and have a fiesta at home!!!

  • Step 6

This recipe is designed to be adjusted to your taste buds. This version is for a party but you can adjust it down for just two drinks as well.

If you would like to make this Virgin, use the La Paz mix (or other margarita mix) for the alcohol.
