-

Pick two colours of card that go well together. Fold the main colour of card in half.
-

Cut a long rectangle out of the second piece of card.
-

Lightly sketch out the design with a pencil.
-

Prick holes all along the design.
-

Take a needle and thread and stitch through the holes.
-

When you have stitched the whole pattern stick tape over the tales on the back for extra security.
-

Glue to the main part of the card. You're all done.

I really like those. They're really pretty and simple.

Perfect colors! What kind of paper do you recommend? These would make great cards for graduations, too, with a stitched 2006.

I recently found your site from Ysolda's blog, and I really liked it.
I love your projects too (especially the Green Fairy Lollypops)

Hmm, you could use nice textured paper of the paper you get with flowers pressed in. I should experiment with paper making soon, that would be fun.

Thanks for this wonderful idea - now I can only go ahead and create for myself.

Yeah you can, it saves time but you have to be a good sewer.
