It's like drawing with a needle and thread.
Add to Favorites Add Your Version
Pick two colours of card that go well together. Fold the main colour of card in half.
Cut a long rectangle out of the second piece of card.
Lightly sketch out the design with a pencil.
Prick holes all along the design.
Take a needle and thread and stitch through the holes.
When you have stitched the whole pattern stick tape over the tales on the back for extra security.
Glue to the main part of the card. You're all done.

Perfect colors! What kind of paper do you recommend? These would make great cards for graduations, too, with a stitched 2006.
I recently found your site from Ysolda's blog, and I really liked it. I love your projects too (especially the Green Fairy Lollypops)

Hmm, you could use nice textured paper of the paper you get with flowers pressed in. I should experiment with paper making soon, that would be fun.

Yeah you can, it saves time but you have to be a good sewer.
