Nice and simple
I saw this in a website and I change it up a bit. The one I saw on the web were very pretty but I wanted something nice and simple. I love the way they turn out hope you like them. Sorry if I misspelled.
First gather your fabric and all the materials.
Take a piece of cardboard or card and fold it into a square shape now trace that square into the fabric.
They should look like this try to make them as square as possible one smaller than the other not to small since you are going to fold them.
Since I did not have fabric stiffener I use elmers glue and added a bit of water. Now dip the fabric in the bowl
and leave them in for five minutes.
Now just drip them dont twist them and put them on a plastic plate. Place the square face down Gently fold the four corners in to meet at the center.
They will look like this, if your using Denim put a pin in the middle to hold or they will open.
Put them on the corner of the plate with the folded part facing down so they wont stick and let them dry. When they are dry and if your not using a fabric stiffener take your hairspray and spray them all over and let dry.
Now take yor button or pendant and match to what you like.
Take your glue gun and the small triangle and glue to the folded part and place on top of the other.
I sew a bit in the middle to make sure it does not fall off. It's up to you.
Now cut a triangle smaller than your pendant to glue it on the back so the folded part wont show.
Take a folding wire and heat it up to make a hole on your pendant.
USE SAFETY GLASSES FOR THIS YOU DONT WANT A HOT METAL PIECE FALLING INTO YOUR EYES BE CAREFUL NOT TO BURN YOURSELF.
While the wire is still hot make a hole on your pendant to put a clasp on there.
Take your thread or chain whatever your going to use to put your pendant I braided some thread.
After I braided I make a loop on one side and I add a bead on the other that way I get to put it on and take it off.
And here is how they turned out.
