  1. Step 1

    Step 1

Gather 2gether loads of kinds of plastic rubbish!
And cut in2 loads of little chippings 4 melting 2gether

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Use your kitchen scissors for this as it is quite hard! And watch out because it can go all over!
Luckily I am the mum and it's my kitchen! (Plastic chip cookies! No Way!)

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Here it shows me making a sandwich (none edible) of foil, plastic n foil ready 2 iron!

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

The iron was used dry but didn't seem to get hot enough 2 melt the plastic!
Crappy iron! I am so glad I don't use it 2 much (whats that you say kids? I don't use it at all!)

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

I shall use my trusty heat gun! That will melt it!
Now I am sorry 2 say this next bit didn't work, and I have no piccies of it!
BUT IT DIDN'T work in away!
The plastic stuck to the foil! URRRR!
So I heated it up again with my heat gun, and opened up the foil.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

This is the plastic being melted on the foil with my heat gun,but I found using greaseproof paper best!
Some of the plastic stuck to the foil

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

Here it is on greaseproof paper!Much better! Even better still no iron!
    Just a lump!(Stinky 2)

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

Now what 2 do with it?
Who said bin it!Are you looking to upset me....
    I know I will put it 2 one-side and have a think!
I think I should stick to plastic bottle beads....
UNTIL I can buy something that will heat up to like a super nova heat!?
Hair straighteners...(well they worked with wax once!

I'm tempted to say try the oven on waxed-paper... but wondering what kinda fumes that'd create *frown*... hmmm.
I'm surprised the iron didn't work. Get a better iron? lol.
