I kept trying to follow various steampunk goggles tutorials, and most involved taking some sort of juice cap and cutting circles out of it. I tried that and failed miserably. So I used an old pair of swimming goggles, ripped them apart, and used the lenses. Pardon me, but I didn't take pictures as I was making them, 'cause I wasn't sure they would work. The instructions are pretty straightforward, though, so it should be fine. That, and I don't have another pair of goggles to repeat the project, so you'll have to deal with a text-only how-to ;)

this is awesome! But if you have time please put up pictures!! I'm a visual learner so this doesn't really help me. But either way, I'm definately going to attempt this project. Thanks!

Such a cool idea! I've always failed on the cap cutting front and finding somewhere to mold lenses for me. Really cool idea, I shall keep my eyes out for cheap swimming goggles :D
