Star$ Green Tea Frappe

  • Completed Project: Star$ Green Tea Frappe Picture #1

It only looks like spinach!

As I was about to try to make my own recipe, I found this one in my new "Hungry Girl: 200 Recipes under 200 Calories" book. This one is a bit sweeter than I would like and doesnt include the melon flavoring; so I will probably post another version of this once I make one.

Makes 24 oz drink.

FYI...The matcha is pretty expensive from Whole Foods...like $25 for a small container. I heard that you can get a larger container from Amazon.com for about $20.

  1. Step 1

These aren't the directions from the book...

In a blender glass: add milk, syrup, powdered creamer, matcha, sugar substitute and ice.

Blend well, and top with reddi wip.

omg, I can't wait to try this. $20 is a bit steep for matcha, but I'm sure it makes quite a few drinks.

Thanks for posting this!

I work at starbucks .. .and I drink this RELIGIOUSLY.

it's hard not to. but this recipe totally makes sense.

since they've taken melon out of the equasion ... I use vanilla flavoring ... it's totally better. try that!

This is fab with mint instead of vanilla syrup.

Tastes JUST like Laura Secord's mint ice cream. :D
