An over the top Mini Top Hat and not so over the top one too!
So I watched the Tutorial from Threadbanger on the Mini Top Hat. It seemed pretty simple, which it was, but it is St Pats day and we (my oh so tall daughter, brother visiting from Baltimore, husband and I) were headed to Ybor City in Tampa for the St Patricks day Parade. Now, Ybor City is an amazing place full of diversity and life and ar parade time it only gets better.

So the tutorial came from here:

I hope the link posted!

I went thru all of my craft bags, shoe boxes, button cans, halloweene decorations and fabric containers to create my hat. I have it secured to my hair with a hair comb at the front (I teased the heck out of my hair and put to comb into the rats nest), and I sewed an elastic band to the inside of the hat wrap around the nape, the ribbon tie is just for looks. I added the net to the front of the hat.... It is a net bag that onions came in from my local grocery store.
My daughters hat was last minute, halloween cat fabric, buttons, feathers, and 2 clips to hold it on.

I think they turned out pretty decent!
