Description

here is a tutorial for making these colrful stripe backround from... scraps...

Instructions
  1. 1
    Step 1

take a pile of scraps from colors that match (I chose reds) and create a log.

  2. 2
    Step 2

place the log face up and cut to 8 sections )the best way to do this is by cutiing in half , then each half to half etc.)

  3. 3
    Step 3

make 2 sheets that one of them is black rolled on #5 on your pasta machine. stack .

  4. 4
    Step 4

insert the stripes between the scrap log.

  5. 5
    Step 5

lay the cane on its side so you'll see only the scrap on top and start stretching towards the sides in order to make it longer in size.

  6. 6
    Step 6

    cut in halves and stack

  7. 7
    Step 7

slice even slices and put them on scrap sheet

  8. 8
    Step 8

roll on the thickest setting of your pasta machine and there you have it :-)

Love this cane I think it might be one of my favorites. Does anyone know where you can fine the directions for the butterfly cane setting on top of it. The two of them together just set each other off perfect. Thanks for sharing this beauty with all of us.
