My first quilt! I made this simple quilt by cutting 5 x 5 inch squares, sewing them together, then quilting the patchwork with a solid piece of flannel on the back. I used a store bought satin tape for the edging, washed it to fluff it up, and viola! A lovely gift for my best friend's baby girl.
