Step 1
Gather materials.
Step 2
Lay out the old tee. Place an applique on it somewhere, and trace around the heart shape.
Step 3
You should end up with this :)

Do this twice more.

Now, leaving a centimeter of extra space around your tracing, cut out the heart. There should be a double layer of fabric (cut through the back of the tee too).
Step 6
This will make you two hearts!
Step 7
Repeat with the two other heart tracings.
Step 8
Lay the hearts out as shown.
Step 9
Get your glue ready. We're going to be gluing the sequin hearts onto the white tee shirt hearts.
Step 10
Place a generous amount of fabric glue on the back of the sequin heart.
Step 11
Place it in the middle of the fabric heart and press down. Make sure to hold for about 10 seconds. You want these to stick nice n' good!
Step 12
Repeat with the others...
Step 13
Lay the hearts on your skirt in a random pattern (or however you would like them). Take a pic so you know where they go :)
Step 14
Place a piece of paper in the skirt. When you glue down the hearts you don't want the skirt to stick together!
Step 15
Now you're going to want to put a generous amount of fabric glue on the fabric backing of the heart applique.
Step 16
Press down firmly.
Step 17
Repeat with the other hearts.

Et Voila!

Let the skirt dry overnight. Before trying it on make sure the glue is dry and the hearts are secure. Now put it on...and look adorable!!! Straight off the runway!! To DIY For...
