Firstly get your plastic cup, get a bit of vaseline and spread it all over the inside of the cup, this is so that when you pull out the soap lolly it comes out easily.

Next get some sticky tape. Put a piece of tape across the top of the cup - this is to secure the lolly stick. Tape a second piece of tape to the end of the lolly stick - leave a bit flapping. Put the lolly stick in the cup and fasten the two bits of tape together.

Get your soap. Make sure you use glycerine soaps. If you are lucky you can get clear glycerine soap. You then can add a few drops of essential oil and a drop of food colouring to make it look nice. If not just used pre coloured. Sometimes, they dont smell so get your oils to the ready.

Chop the soap into chunks, you can use a food prosesser to make it melt quicker.

You then want to melt it in the microwave for about 30 seconds, make sure you keep an eye on it though. If you want to be posh you can put your soap in a dish over boiling water and wait a while.

When melted pour it in the cup. Then wait a while, overnight is good. Make sure you buy extra soap so that when this is drying you can wash anyway. You can also layer this, which looks well cool.

When layering do the same steps from above but just change the colour. This looks great when finished.

Now when the soap is fully dry remove the sticky tape and pull out. Now run along and have a bath.

Hi there! Just a couple of extra tips to add to this swell little project. Firstly, one shouldn't use food colourings in soap! Make sure you always use certifed cosmetic colourings. Secondly, when you're layering colours/textures together spray on some alcohol solution - helps stop bleeding and helps join the layers together. Voila! :o)
