Snowmen Pendants / Keychains

Snowmen Pendants/Keychains!

These are really cool to make! I just came up with them one day when I was helping my little sister with a project. I would do the how-to, but sadly I don't have a digital camera to do them step-by-step. I had to use my scanner as it is just to get a picture of them.

  1. Step 1

Get any color marker you want and use it to color the wooden spoon.

  2. Step 2

Use hot glue and attach two white beads for eyes and a black rubber band under it as the mouth.

  3. Step 3

Cut a 3in. strip of ribbon and hot glue it to the back of the wooden spoon. Flip it over and put some hot glue in the middle. Cross one of the edges of the ribbon from the back over and push it into the glue. Then, put another dab of glue on top of that and place the other strip of ribbon on.

  4. Step 4

Put random strips and dabs of glue all over the spoon, then sprinkle on a generous amount of silver glitter, then shake to get access glitter off.

  5. Step 5

    (for a key chain)
Put a key ring on a 2in. piece of yarn, and bring the ends of the yarn together. Tape the two end onto the back of the spoon, then hot glue over it.

  6. Step 6

    (For a pin)
Hot glue a safety pin to the back of the spoon.

The bodies are made from the wooden spoons you get out of "luigi's italian ice" boxes. I don't know what else I could call them other than wooden spoons.
