Lighting the way <3

A cute project I found online during a blizzard.
Perfect for lining your sidewalk/driveway on snowy nights!

Its a little tedious to keep the snowballs from falling, but it looks beautiful!

Instructions

  1. 1

Remember stancing cups back when you were younger? Three on the bottom, two on the spaces, and 1 on top? This is the same basic principle used here.

Start making snowballs. A good amount is around 8-10 of them. Arrange the snowballs in a circle around a small votive or tea light cnadle. This is your first rung.

  2. 2

Make more snowballs, stacking them on top of where two snowballs join on the first rung.

So if you had 8 on the bottom, you should have 7 on the next layer.

  3. 3

Continue doing this until the opening on top is still large enough to light your candle.

  4. 4

Light the votive using the long neck lighter.

(If you don't know what these are, they are basically a safety precautioned form of a lighter. Typically used for lighting things in places where astandard lighter could burn you easily)

  5. 5

Continue making snowballs and fitting them over the previous ring of snowballs until the top hole is covered.

  6. 6

    Voila!
    A snow latern!
