I was really bored, and I was wearing a colorful outfit and the white headband didn't seem to fit it, so, I decided to whip out some sharpies and have some fun!

Start with a plain white plastic headband.

Color from one side to the next in any design you want.
I used zigzags.
Make sure you use sharpies or any other permanent marker to prevent smuging. -
When the entire top is colored to your like, color along the edge in either one solid color, another design, I colored the side in accordance to the color & length of the above zigzag.
i.e. the green zig zag is 1 cm long so then the green along the edge is 1 cm long.
Do this along the entire headband. -
And voila!
