  • Step 1

crochet a circle using the "magic circle method" then do 8 double crochets inside of the circle and join together with a slip stitch.

  • Step 2

chain two, 2 double crochet in each stitch around, join together with slip stitch.

  • Step 3

chain two, 1 double crochet into the first stitch, 2 in the next...all the way around join with a slip stitch.

  • Step 4

chain two, 1 double crochet in each of the next two stitches, 2 in the next...all the way around join with slip stitch.

  • Step 5

work two rounds even, by now the little cup should fit over your toes.

  • Step 6

continue working an even round but leave 9 stitches un-worked this time. continue going back and forth over the stitches you did work (this is making the foot of your slipper)continue until the foot becomes long enough for you.

  • Step 7

once you have the foot long enough it's time to sew up the heel. Turn the slipper inside out and fold the foot piece in half, join together with a slip stitch.

  • Step 8

now your slipper should be starting to look like a slipper :] however it should be very loose still. Now it is time to "cinch up" the sides. with the same color you've been working with add a border of single crochets to the slipper, make your stitches tight, but not too tight!

  • Step 9

now your slipper should fit comfortably. this time you're going to add a border of a contrasting color. join your yarn at the heel and single crochet around.

  • Step 10

The Bows!!The bows are the easiest most fun part to me :] First make a chain of about 10 stitches, double crochet 2 rows onto that. now you should have a little rectangle, tie up ends. Then chain a short chain, about 6 and tie up ends. Tie the short chain around the middle of the rectangle and you have a bow! :D now fasten the bow to your slipper and you're done!
