I crocheted this hat for my boyfriend's birthday. He had a hat with a large skull on it, but I wanted to make him one with a little one. This was by far the best hat I've made for him. Single crochets all around, then half double near the end to give it a little oomph and to change up the look of it a little bit. The Half double crochets are completely optional. Practice makes perfect :D The skull was embroidered later after the hat was done.
