Simple and quick, yet practical - a great way to use scrap fabric!
This was a fun project I stumbled upon late one night. It took no time at all to complete and the end result is really cute and professional! You could easily spunk it up a bit by adding buttons, bling, lace etc.

That is a really cute idea. I think I am going to try this with a little twist for my sewing machine cover this morning. I am also making a Serger cover. You also didn't leave the link so I hope I can do this one.
