Keep those rings together when you're not wearing them!
Take a trip to the hardware store or hobby shop and pick up some wooden craft supplies to make simple but cute ring holders. After you make them, you can paint them or leave them plain like I did.

  • How to make a ring storage unit. Simple Ring Holders - Step 1
    Step 1

I found these at my local Lowes hardware store, on the nuts and bolts aisle in the little parts cabinets labeled "hobby". Usually there is at least one bag ripped open, so go ahead and make sure the mini pegs fit into the wheels. Then go find the dowels and find one that fits the wheel. If it fits the wheel, the dowel cap will fit too, but try it on if you want to.

    Step 2

Insert the mini peg into the wheel. That's it. Glue it if you want to make it permanent.

    Step 3

For the second style, decide how tall you want the ring holder to be, and score the dowel with the scissors. Just close the scissors on the dowel, like you're going to cut it, and twist the dowel back and forth.

    Step 4

Snap them on the score line. Don't worry if they are a little jagged. No one is going to see the ends.

    Step 5

Insert one end into the wheel and top the other end with a cap. Again, that's it. Glue the pieces together if you want.

You can flip the wheel over if you want a flat base, but I like the ridged part up, personally. Paint them, glue them to a plate, use however you wish. Now you have a way to show off your rings when you're not wearing them!
